Nami is from Tokyo, Japan and has been dancing since she was 16 years old. Having started with Gymnastic Jazz, Nami also dances Tap and Hip Hop. Nami taught at a dance studio in Japan for 15 years before moving to Bangkok in 2005.

Following her passion, Nami found rumPUREE by accident. After starting to take Bellydance lessons she quickly fell in love with it. Nami's learning curve improved very quickly and soon after she became one of rumPUREE's dance troupe members and also started teaching Bellydance classes. Apart from Bellydance, Nami teaches Pole and is an avid Hip Hop dancer. Coming from a solid dance background, Nami's teaching style is strong, energetic and beautiful.
